7000 LITRE WATER TANK
CAPACITY: 7000 litre
SHAPE: Elliptical
TANK SHELL: Will be elliptical in cross section of 4,5mm mild steel plate and electrically welded throughout. Machine pressed dished ends.
BAFFLES: Adequate transverse baffles will be fitted with hinged doors in the centre of the baffles to facilitate easy cleaning.
DISHED ENDS: 4,5mm thick mild steel.
MANHOLE: One 450mm diameter manhole with a quick release hinged screw type clamped lid and situated at the highest point of the tank. Rubber seal in the form of a rubber ring which is to be secured to manhole flange.
SIGHT GLASS: A sight glass is fitted at rear of tank.
OUTLET : 50mm outlet at the lowest end of tank.
OVERFLOW & AIR INLET: At the highest end of the tank.
LADDER: A tubular ladder will be fitted to the tank for access to the manhole.
VALVE ARRANGEMENT
1) Empty tank through direct outlet.
2) Pump and fill other tanks.
3) Gravity through hose.
4) Pump through hose.
5) Pump through spray bar.
HOSES: 10 meters delivery hose will be supplied. 6 meters suction hose will be supplied.
INTERIOR OF TANK: Will be painted with black bitumenastic paint.
EXTERIOR OF TANK: Will be thoroughly ground and sanded in preparation for painting, followed by zinc chromate primer and finished off with two coats of synthetic enamel.
MOUNTING: The tank will be longitudinally mounted. The tank will have 100mm fall to the rear for easy and complete discharge.
MUDGUARDS: Mudguards will be fitted over wheels of the trailer.
PLATFORM: Rear platform with steps and handrails.
PUMP: KATO KND80 pump with Honda Petrol engine.

Diesel Tankers for Rossing Uranium Ltd

In conjunction with Namibia Commercial Vehicles we are delivering 2 IVECO Model MP380E37H 6x4 EuroTrakker chassis equipped with 21000 litre diesel tankers for off-road use in the open pit at Rössing Uranium Mine in Western Namibia.
The cabs are fitted with air conditioners, gearboxes with intarders for the steep open pit gradients and various discharge nozzles for heavy Open Cast mining equipment.
Mini Skip Loader Order
A new order was received from Waste Resources (Pty) Ltd for a Mini Skip Loader to handle specialized waste disposal.
Pictured below is the completed unit about to be delivered.
