Two booms are activated by two generously designed double acting
cylinders. High Tensile chains fitted with key plates to IWM specifications are suspended
from the boom arms to facilitate loading/unloading and tipping functions. When tipping a
bin high tensile hydraulically tip hooks can be provided as an optional extra.
To stabilize the vehicle and for leveling on uneven ground two independently controlled
hydraulic jack legs are fitted to the rear of the body. To ensure safe operation and
control, engine speed is automatically set via a switch located together with the
hydraulic controls on the front side of the body according to left or right hand drive
models. To safeguard against over-revving and driving with the hydraulics engaged it is
recommended that a re-limiter and a power take off "fail safe" system be fitted
by us as an optional extra at the time of purchase.
Extensive use of high-tensile, jigged construction and modern welding procedures ensure
a long trouble free life for the Skip Master range.
