| Manufactured in Modular form the Personnel Carrier is available in almost every
dimension. This concept allows for backup spare parts to be carried on the shelf. The
exterior skin is produced from 0,9mm thick aluminium alloy. Cold rolled Z-shaped
galvanized stiffeners are spaced at 406mm intervals on both sides and roof. Each section
is contained in specially extruded aluminium sections, which when monobolted together, add
to strength and rigidity. Solid aluminium rivets and monobolts (instead of pop rivets) are
used in the manufacture. The carrier can seat up to 120 people and for additional
comfort the roof is insulated with 40mm polystyrene and clad with painted and tempered
Masonite. |
